With the advent of big data and artificial intelligence eras and data-intensive research paradigms, researching, sharing and reusing data based on data has become a new trend in academic research. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to conduct research based on data, innovatively use new methods and technologies to analyze the potential value of data, and promote the circulation and sharing of data. The National Information Center Big Data Development Department and Beijing Information Resource Management Center are regarded as industries. The guiding unit, Peking University Library, Peking University Information Management Department, Peking University China Social Science Research Center, Chongqing Western Big Data Frontier Application Research Institute, Higher Education Document Support System, Chongqing University Library Co-organizer, for universities, research institutes ( The students are studying and launching a data-driven innovation research competition.

The competition will be held from November 2018 to April 2019. Excellent students from all disciplines are welcome to submit their works to participate in the competition.
